H.E.L.P. Participates in the Family Fun Day

Family Fund Day was held at the Emory & Henry College Saturday April 5, 2008.   Alma & John Blankenship along with Anne Maio were there representing the Highlands Educational Literacy Program, Inc. They handed out packets of information about the Literacy Program and encouraged participants to become tutors for the program. Alma and Anne are Community Literacy Leaders for the program.

H.E.L.P. Celebrates 20^th Birthday

The HELP Literacy Program celebrated its’ 20^th year of service to the community at the Finals for the Rock, Paper, Scissors Contest. The celebration was held at the 4-H Center in Abingdon with entertainment by the Valley Echoes. A good time was had by all.

Spring Clean-Up

H.E.L.P. is having a yard sale Saturday morning, May 10, in Damascus. 
Gently-used items would be appreciated.
